Will this work with USB 2.0 devices?
Yes. USB-A extensions are backward compatible; speed follows the slowest link in the chain.
Does it boost signal or add power?
No. It is a passive extension cord, not an active repeater or powered hub.
Can I daisy-chain two of these?
You can, but total length and cable quality affect stability; long chains may drop to lower speeds or glitch.
Is the female end tight enough for a heavy drive cable?
